Lenovo X61 Battery stretch

Tuesday, June 19th, 2007
I turned on my laptop with battery conserve mode at 8:30 am. It's now 10:00 and I'm at 69% remaining. I just found and enabled battery stretch to extend my battery. We'll see how that goes. To get to battery stretch, click on the battery icon in the system tray.

Apparently, others are geting 4+ even 6 hours on a single battery. I hope that will be my experience, too.

Thanks for you interesting reports about your experiences with the new Lenovo tablet.

Not long ago, I bought the X60. Basically I am very happy with it, just for one exception:

The display encasement is not clotted correctly. Right above the tablet-buttons on the display the encasement is coming of and I can see the glue. I already had Lenovo change it but it still the same thing.

Do you have any experience with that?

re: Lenovo X61 Battery stretch

No experience with this. The X61 I received seems to be well built.

I just got a new X61 - my case is loose at the bottom of the screen also.

I am a T60 user and much familiar with it. Last Nov 16, 2007, I acquired a brand new Lenovo X61 with a slim 4-cell battery. Everything is fine except for the battery which is loose (it does not drop off however). My T-60 battery is well fitted; how come my X61 battery is shaking (when you carry it, the battery somewhat rattles -- quite annoying). I checked the mechanism in the battery section, nothing unusual. Is it really like that?
