OK, Michael,
we've been verbally jousting
long enough. For your next visit to California I'm planning a different
kind of adventure. Rather than hang
out in the digital sandbox
doing geek
stuff, I think we'll do something
else for fun but you'll need to bring your own suit ...
I don't want you to exceed the weight or size restrictions for international
flights or have any trouble with airport security, Michael. Just pack your
suit and leave your sword and lance at home. We'll pick up some weapons
locally.
Update: OK, that's not me on the horse. That's James Zoppe, founder
of the American
Jousting Alliance, which is
not far from where I live. James put on a jousting tournament at our local
equestrian center, one cold day in April, 1998. That's
Mt. Pinos, covered in snow, in the background. (My house is up on the mountain
on the left, just outside of the field of view.)

So if you lose Eric, does that mean you'll buy a Mac?

Blast, that looks great... :-) I've joined a medieval swordfighting course in September, trading up for a horse and lance sure looks nice.
Must be great to attend such a day :-)

This wasn't part of the deal! I'm not sure I want my precious husband doing this.
